Over the years Just Pc’s has developed a unique set of services to address our client’s redundant IT equipment refurbishment & disposal needs. As a responsible refurbisher all equipment is handled in an eco friendly manner, ensuring that no electronic waste finds its way to our landfills & as many as possible good working refurbished pc’s finds its way to the needy. With our partner network throughout South Africa we are able to offer this service on a national basis.

 

Refurbishment for donation:

This service enables companies & corporations to donate professionally refurbished computers of absolute quality to NPO’s, NGO’s and Educational institutes while eliminating the need to allocate additional in-house IT recourses to the project. Elements includes: screening of beneficiaries, collection of all relevant documentation, donation, delivery & instillation of refurbished equipment. We also prepare valuation certificates for equipment donated which has tax benefits & builds on social responsibility scoring. This service can also be offered without any charge. Software licensing; Microsoft acknowledges the need for low cost computer systems to bridge the digital divide. As a result they have put in place the community MAR project. Formal refurbishers are given MAR (Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher) status; this enables us to load genuine versions of Windows XP Pro & Office 2007 standard on certain computers at a very low cost.

 

 

Refurbishment for staff:

Based on the same structure as the previous service, computers can be professionally refurbished to either be sold or given to your staff as a gift.

 

 

Asset recovery:

Should you require selling your redundant IT equipment, Just Pc’s will buy it from you at market related prices.

 

 

 

Secure data destruction / hard drive sanitation:

This process is essential for companies & corporations to keep sensitive data confidential & can be offered in conjunction with any of our other services or as stand alone. Hard drives are sanitized with specialized software that conforms to US Department of Defense cleaning & sanitation standard, DoD 5220.22-M. Certificates that confirm this are given.

 

 

 

Eco friendly e-waste disposal:

E-waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams in the world. Should we wish to preserve our planet we need to act now & put plans in place to preserve its natural resources & reduce our carbon footprint.

Together with our recycling partners we offer a complete e-waste disposal & recycling solution to our clients. This service can be combined with any of our other services or offered as stand alone.

Just Pc’s is a EWASA (e-waste association of South Africa) accredited member & is governed by the Code of Ethics & guidelines set out by EWASA & the IT association of SA. All of our downstream partners are also EWASA members which gives you 100% assurance of the eco friendly disposal of your e-waste. We will supply you with all relevant certification of safe disposal.

 

Services to the Public

 

Computer refurbishment:

You can look at this as a major service on your car. Just like a car, your computer has moving parts. These parts & components are exposed to dust, dirt & hi heats over its lifetime, if not maintained & cleaned on a regular basis it can cause your system to malfunction & fail. We will refurbish your computer up to the same standards as we do our own. This includes; system stress test, mechanics test & standard maintenance.

 

 

Computer upgrades & repairs:

Professionally repairs to faulty computers & laptops. We will do an assessment on your equipment to determine the fault & prepare a no obligation quote free of charge.

 

 

 

Onsite computer / network repairs & maintenance

Should you require an onsite visit, we can send a qualified computer specialist to your house or company.

 

 

Service contracts:

Many small to medium sized businesses find it very expensive & unnecessary to employ a full time onsite computer technician. Just Pc’s can tailor make a computer & network maintenance & support contract most suitable for your business.

 

 

E-waste drop off facility:

As we strive to reduce the amount of e-waste finding its way to our landfills, Just Pc’s has made their Blackheath site available for the drop off of e-waste (this excludes “white goods”) free of charge. Extended warranty:

If your computer is out of warranty & you need the peace of mind of a warranty covering you against hardware failure. For a monthly fee you can get a carry in warranty or for a little more you get a next business day on-site warranty insuring you against hardware failure.
